Each Monday in SAFeÂŽ Connect, we shine a light on one of our incredible members. On Wednesdays, that same member shares their Tip of the Weekâa practical piece of advice, a hard-won lesson, or a simple ritual that keeps them (and their teams) moving forward.
This weekâs spotlight member,  Josh Bedell , offers three insights worth carrying with you as you navigate SAFe in complex environments. ďťż
1. Start somewhere, not everywhere.
âIn a complex system, almost everything looks daunting. Focus on somethingâa feature, an epic, a value stream, a team, or an ART. Pick one and start there. Momentum builds from focus, not from trying to do everything at once.â
ďťż
2. Do what you enjoyâand let it fuel your focus.
âFind the part you enjoy most, whatever that may be, and launch from there as often as possible. When weâre doing something we truly enjoy, we tend to be more focused and effective. (And yes, I absolutely use AI as my copilot to help me stay sharp.)â
ďťż
3. Stay authentic.
âThe best advice I ever received? âWouldnât you rather they judge you for the leader you are than who you think they want you to be?â Itâs tempting to adapt yourself to fit expectations, but authenticity builds trustâand trust builds teams.â
