This Week’s SAFe Tip from Konrad Swistelnicki

Focus, Leadership, and Continuous Learning
Each Wednesday, our Spotlight member shares a practical insight to help you navigate complexity with clarity and purpose. This week’s Tip of the Week comes from Konrad Swistelnicki, who brings practical advice shaped by his experience working with complex organizations and distributed teams.

1. A practical tip for applying SAFe in a complex environment

Invest in leadership education and deliberately staff your LACE with real capacity. In complex environments, SAFe mechanics are rarely the main challenge. What makes the biggest difference is how well leaders understand their role in a Lean Agile system and whether the LACE has enough dedicated capacity to actively coach, prepare, align, and support continuous improvement.

2. My go to productivity hack or ritual

Calendar blocked focus time combined with regular physical activity. Protecting uninterrupted thinking time and pairing it with movement helps me reset, increase oxygen flow, and think more clearly.

3. How I stay current in my Agile journey

By combining continuous reading, learning from thought leaders, and active community involvement. Community events are where theory meets reality.
